ATLANTA – The Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club will collaborate with another Atlanta-based music superstar when the team hosts the Oklahoma City Thunder on Nov. 30, today announcing plans for multi-platinum hip-hop heavyweight Jeezy to headline the next installment of the Sprite Concert Series.
“Being an Atlanta native, it’s only right to partner up with the Hawks for my new album ‘Church in These Streets,’” says Jeezy. “No team, no fans and no artist will go harder for their city than on Nov. 30 in Atlanta at Philips Arena.”
The “Put On” rapper, who today released a 16-track album, “Church in These Streets” through CTE/Def Jam Recordings, will perform at halftime of the Hawks’ contest against the Thunder before returning for an extended set following the game.
