The Atlanta Hawks are reportedly sending Lamar Patterson to the D-League.
The Atlanta Hawks will assign rookie shooting guard Lamar Patterson to the NBA Development League according to a report by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Chris Vivlamore. Patterson will be assigned via the NBA's flexible assignment rule and his destination isn't known at this time. The Hawks assigned Walter Tavares to the Austin Spurs earlier this week and he will make his debut Friday night.
Patterson was a surprise addition to the Hawks' rotation at the start of the season but has lost playing time of late to Justin Holiday.
