The Hawks have reached agreement with Brandon Goodwin to fill their remaining two-way contract, according to a person familiar with the situation. The Hawks have not announced the deal. The agreement was first reported by The Athletic.
Goodwin, from Norcross High, will spend much of the season with the Hawks’ G League affiliate, the College Park Sykhawks.
The 6-foot-1 point guard played on a two-way contract with the Nuggets last season. He appeared in 16 games with the Nuggets and averaged 1.4 points and 0.9 assists in 3.6 minutes. He appeared in 27 G League games with the Memphis Hustle and Iowa Wolves and averaged 21.
