LAS VEGAS — The Hawks have agreed to a contract to bring Kris Humphries back for another season.

Humphries will be signed to a one-year, $4 million contract in the coming days or weeks, according to a person familiar with the situation. Humphries announced his return via social media on Monday night. He posted on Twitter: “Excited to be back in the A next season. #TrueToAtlanta”

The Hawks signed Humphries near the end of last season after he was traded by the Wizards to the Suns and then had his contract bought out. He expressed a desire to return at his exit interview following the season.
