The Atlanta Hawks announced in early April that the team would be partnering with P3 Sports Science on a new, state-of-the-art training and practice facility. At the time, the organization put forth a "grand opening" date that coincided with the 2017-2018 NBA season, and while that is still the case at this point, a report surfaced on Tuesday that pushes things back a bit in terms of construction on the project.
Chris Vivlamore of the AJC brings word that construction will not begin on the project until late June, and that the groundbreaking will not take place until at least the aftermath of the NBA Draft on June 23.
