In a bit of a shocker on Monday afternoon, news has broken about a big move made at the top of the organization. Former NBA player and fast riser in the Atlanta Hawks organization, Landry Fields, will no longer continue as the general manager. Mike Scotto of HoopsHype had this report:

Fields took the position prior to the 2022-23 season. After former President of Basketball Operations Travis Schlenk decided to mutually part during that campaign, Fields effectively became the top decision-maker in the front office.
