Dennis Schröder scored a game-high 24 points, but Germany's furious fourth quarter rally comes up just short in a loss to Turkey.
Germany's late charge comes up just short in a 80-75 loss to Turkey on Wednesday.
Things couldn't have began any worse for Germany who quickly fell behind 9-0 out of the gate and then trailed 31-11 at the end of the first quarter. Desperate for a spark, Germany switched up its defense to a trapping zone in the second and held Turkey scoreless for the first five minutes of the quarter. However, their offense still wasn't able to get on track as they were only able to cut the lead down to 14.
