The Erie Bayhawks recently took place in a G-League Expansion Draft, in which the newly created teams in the league were able to select a roster from a pool of players on other teams that were made available.
Each player selected by the Erie Bayhawks now has their rights owned by the team, but are not on the team until they sign a G-League contract.
Notable players selected by the Erie Bayhawks include former University of Cincinnati star and Brooklyn Nets player Sean Kilpatrick, former UCONN star DeAndre Daniels, former Hawks player Terran Petteway, and Jordan Crawford of the New Orleans Pelicans.
