The Erie BayHawks made a late surge Wednesday afternoon, but they came up short and lost to the Northern Arizona Suns 102-96.
Erie was down by as much as 17 in the 1st quarter as their offense couldn’t get anything going. However, they cut the deficit to 11 by halftime. They showed more life in the 2nd half as led by Raphiael Putney, Jordan Matthews, and Derrick Marks.
The BayHawks trailed 95-83, but went on a 10-0 run to cut the deficit to 2 with less than 2 minutes remaining in the game.
