The Atlanta Dream are finally healthy as they won their second consecutive game with an 82-70 victory over the Connecticut Sun. The Dream played some of their best defense of the season. The Dream’s defensive philosophy has been rooted in discipline and versatility.
The last two games they have shut down the opposition perimeter shooters while also protecting the rim, allowing them to excel at all facets on defense. Defensively, the Dream forced 17 Connecticut turnovers and held the Sun to shooting just 35.4% from the field.
“It was another gutsy win, we are obviously excited to be back home, they came out defensively and really executed the game plan,” said head coach Tanisha Wright.
