Things started well enough for Atlanta who jumped out to a 20-9 lead at the end of the first quarter. Indiana battled back in the second and the Dream entered the half with a slim 34-32 lead.
Atlanta tied the game 57-57 to start the fourth before the Fever scored nine straight points as part of a 15-4 run to take a 72-61 lead with 4:42 remaining.
