With both the lottery and draft combine taking place in Chicago, the Atlanta Hawks have not hosted a publicly announced workout since May 11. That brief hiatus will come to an end on Thursday, however, as the Hawks will play host to six players at the Emory Sports Medicine Complex.
The headliner is Villanova guard Donte DiVincenzo, who enjoyed a strong performance at the recent combine and arrives in Atlanta as a potential first round pick. While his “breakout” effort did not arrive until the Final Four, DiVincenzo is quite athletic (42-inch vertical leap) and, after knocking down 40 percent of his threes last season, there is quite a market for his potential skill set at the next level.
