Atlanta Hawks center Dewayne Dedmon has been cleared to resume on-court activities after a CT scan on his left tibia at the Hawks’ practice facility.
Dedmon was initially ruled out for three to six weeks on Nov. 29 after a stress reaction in his left tibia was discovered, meaning Dedmon has progressed as expected with his original recovery timetable but still has a ways to go before being cleared to play again.
In his place, minutes at the center position have been spread among the likes of John Collins, Tyler Cavanaugh but mostly Miles Plumlee, who returned to action just before Dedmon was ruled out with his injury.
