Details emerge in potential front office shakeup for Atlanta Hawks

A little over a week ago, Hawks principle owner Tony Ressler told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that he didn’t anticipate making any front office changes after the season. Now just 10 days later, it appears that he is considering a massive restructuring of Atlanta’s front office.

The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski provides details on the level of the changes. Per the report, Ressler is seriously discussing the possibility of Mike Budenholzer relinquishing his President’s role although he would retain some some say in player personnel decisions. Such a move would have Budenholzer answering to a new President or General Manager.
