The Hawks have officially announced the trade centered around Dejounte Murray being sent to the New Orleans Pelicans today.
Reporting surrounding the trade when word broke on June 28 correctly included Dyson Daniels, Larry Nance Jr., and two first-round picks (one via the Lakers in 2025 and the worst of the Bucks and Pelicans, top-4 protected in 2027) all as the haul Atlanta would receive for their part.
Later, third-year forward E.J. Liddell was reported as being sent to Atlanta as well. But the official announcement also includes veteran big man Cody Zeller being moved to Atlanta on what will be a guaranteed salary in 2024-25 (due to CBA rules surrounding sign-and-trades) but presumably unguaranteed beyond that.
