The Atlanta Hawks have recalled swingman DeAndre’ Bembry from the Hawks’ G League affiliate, the Erie Bayhawks, to evaluate a left groin strain he sustained while on duty in the G League.
No further information has been given at this time, so it’s unclear the extent of Bembry’s injury or the timetable for his return.
Bembry was assigned to the Bayhawks on December 27th after enduring a tough spell on the court with the Hawks.
In his most recent stint with the Bayhawks (three games), Bembry averaged 12 points per game on 48.
