DeAndre’ Bembry diagnosed with adductor strain after MRI

Atlanta Hawks’ sophomore swingman DeAndre’ Bembry is reportedly set to miss the next one to three weeks as a result of a Grade 1 left adductor strain diagnosed after undergoing an MRI on Tuesday, per Michael Cunningham of the AJC.

Hawks say Bembry will miss 1-3 weeks with Grade 1 left adductor strain (groin). MRI today confirmed injury.

The news comes as a fresh blow for Bembry, who has missed already missed extended time to begin the season with a wrist injury.

Bembry originally injured his groin while on G-League assignment with the Hawks’ G-League affiliate Erie Bayhawks in December after a run of poor form with the Hawks.
