While the Hawks pick up the pace on the court, fans will be able to do the same in the stands.
Comcast Business announced an agreement with the Hawks to provide and manage the team’s WiFi network at State Farm Arena on Tuesday. According to Comcast, it will deliver 10 times the current speed and will nearly double the number of access points that existed before the arena was renovated.
“We view renovation as innovation,” Marcus Wasdin, chief information officer for the Hawks,” said in a statement. “This is the perfect opportunity to solidify a core component of the fan experience.
