Collins, Huerter have big games but Hawks fall to Pacers

John Collins finished with 22 points and 16 rebounds while rookie Kevin Huerter scored 22 and made six 3-pointers but the Hawks lost to the Pacers 116-108 Monday in Indianapolis.

The Hawks have lost only two of their last seven, both to Indiana in the last week.

Huerter’s totals were both season highs.

Daniel Hamilton scored eight points for the Hawks in place of the injured Kent Bazemore, who is expected to miss at least two weeks with a sprained right ankle.

Collins has six straight double-doubles.

Alex Len had 19 points and seven rebounds while Trae Young had 16 points and seven assists for the Hawks, who had a 53-39 rebounding advantage.
