Bryce Cotton will play for Atlanta Hawks Summer League Team

Coming to the NBA in 2014 out of Providence, point guard Bryce Cotton spent two seasons with three different NBA teams before spending the 2016-2017 season overseas in Australia. In between those stints, Cotton was an Atlanta Hawk. Just not in the conventional way.

Cotton was invited to the Atlanta Hawks Summer League roster in 2016 in the team’s attempt to add point guard depth. He averaged 12.8 points in the 2016 Summer League and it seemed like the Hawks may have been interested in giving him a roster spot. Cotton instead decided to play overseas.
