Brandon Goodwin to miss remainder of 2020-21 season with respiratory condition

The Atlanta Hawks returned to practice on Tuesday in preparation for the team’s first round series against New York Knicks. While much of the focus is on that matchup and how the team will fare in its return to the postseason for the first time since 2017, the Hawks released an unfortunate injury update on Tuesday evening. Per a team announcement, reserve guard Brandon Goodwin “has been diagnosed with a minor respiratory condition which requires treatment and will keep him out the remainder of the season.”

At this time, no further details are available with regard to Goodwin’s condition.
