Bench Steps Up When Hawks Need It Most

With three days off between Tuesday's Game 2 and Saturday's Game 3, and with his team nursing a seven-point halftime lead, Hawks head coach Mike Budenholzer had a chance to squeeze a little bit more out of his starters.

Budenholzer opted against it, and the bench rewarded him.

Kent Bazemore, Pero Antic, and Dennis Schröder sparked the Hawks in the second half of Atlanta's 106-90 win. Bazemore (8 points, 3/3 FG) hit both of his threes on a night when most Atlanta shots jostled the inside of the rim before glancing out.
