In the Hawks’ loss in Phoenix Thursday, DeAndre’ Bembry was ejected in the third quarter after arguing with a referee and receiving back-to-back technical fouls, and Cam Reddish was ejected in the fourth quarter after committing his second flagrant-1 foul of the game.
Bembry will be assessed $6,000 in fines — $2,000 for each technical and $2,000 for being ejected. Reddish will be assessed $2,000 for the ejection and now has two flagrant foul points, which are subject to league review where the flagrants can be rescinded or reclassified or a possible fine given. If a player’s total exceeds five points (as part of a sliding scale), there is a one-game suspension.
