In a nip-tuck affair that featured 12 lead-changes, Atlanta turned the jets on late to hold Indiana at bay 102-96.
The Hawks were led by the dynamic duo of Paul Millsap (24 points) and Al Horford (21). Other Atlanta players to join the front-court comrades in twin-figures included: Jeff Teague (16) and Kent Bazemore (15). Bazemore also dished a team-high eight assists on the evening.
Although the Hawks were hammered on the glass — 53-to-32 — Atlanta had no trouble in limiting the errant Pacers to 41 percent shooting. The Hawks won for a fifth-straight game when distributing 25-plus assists.
