In less than a full season, Trae Young has changed the culture of the Atlanta Hawks. While John Collins was a terrific player last year, he is something of a dependent talent insofar as he cannot consistently produce his own offense – other than through putbacks or rolling to the rim for easy lobs or layups.
Even in those scenarios, JC must rely on savvy ballhandlers to provide him the ball in the right position to score. Last year, Collins was let down by a dearth of good passers to let him truly feast in the paint.
