Missing in action through the first 15 games of the regular season; and then only seeing rare on-court glimpses until recently, Tim Hardaway Jr. has finally begun to find his place in Atlanta’s rotation.
The 23-year old Hardaway Jr. was born into basketball royalty. Jr’s father, Tim Sr. was among the league’s most loquacious, charismatic and talented performers of the 90’s. Armed with the dreaded “UTEP two-step” Hardaway Sr. enjoyed a standout NBA career. The elder T. Hardaway earned five All-Star selections, averaged 17.7 points, 8.2 assists and 1.6 steals; while earning a coveted slot on the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall Of Fame Ballot after retirement.
