While the roster is still taking shape, the Atlanta Hawks summer league entry in Las Vegas figures to look much different this season. Atlanta traded out of the first round of the 2015 draft and neither of their late second round players are expected to participate in summer league this season.
Reports also indicate that 2014 second-round pick Walter Tavares will forego summer league this season and is weighing his options for a long term deal in Europe. That means that the Hawks are likely to field a summer league team primarily comprised of free agents.
