When the Atlanta Hawks claimed Nicolas Brussino off waivers from the Dallas Mavericks in July, there was optimism about the team adding a talented young player as something of a project. Just five months later, the team has reportedly moved on from Brussino and his fully guaranteed contract in pursuit of an open roster spot.
