The Atlanta Hawks did not add a single asset at the 2018 trade deadline, leaving many fans with a sour taste. Of course, this was always a possibility and, in general, the Hawks avoided damage that could have taken place by receiving bad salary in return for a veteran expiring contract.
Still, the team did consummate two trades on Thursday. First, Atlanta flipped Luke Babbitt to Miami in exchange for Okaro White and, though it has not yet happened, reports indicate that White will be waived. Then, near the end of the frenzy, the Hawks reportedly acquired Sheldon Mac from the Wizards.
