Atlanta came in to Thursday night’s tilt seeking a third straight win, however Kevin Durant and the home-standing Thunder had other plans in mind.
Durant led all scorers on the evening with 25, while notching his first triple-double of the season.
While the All-Star and former League MVP Durant had a stand-out performance, the same cannot be said for Atlanta’s front-line All-Stars.
Both Al Horford and Paul Millsap were held under ten points on Thursday night. For Horford, this was just the first contest of his season in which he failed to register twin-digits; for Millsap it was merely his second.
