Now that the Atlanta Hawks have a legitimate NBA legend among its players in Vince Carter, we have the opportunity to look back at some of his incredible achievements over the years.
As a clear-cut first-ballot Hall of Famer, Carter has had his fair share of highlights over the years (and we hope he makes more with the Hawks). As one of the most dynamic dunkers of all time, many of his exploits are related to his insane vertical leap and ferocious posterization possibilities.
In one magical moment, both of those calling cards were put on display exactly 18 years ago – when Carter did this in the 2000 Olympics:
