ATLANTA — The Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club has recalled Lamar Patterson and Walter “Edy” Tavares from the Austin Spurs of the NBA Development League, it was announced today by President of Basketball Operations/Head Coach Mike Budenholzer.
Both played in the Spurs’ wins on Friday (vs. Texas) and Saturday (at Oklahoma City). In two starts, Patterson averaged 15.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.0 steals in 34.5 minutes (.455 FG%, .375 3FG%). Tavares recorded double-doubles in his two starts, averaging 16.0 points, 14.5 rebounds, 4.5 blocks and 1.0 steals in 29.0 minutes (.706 FG%, .800 FT%).
