Atlanta Hawks Projected Starting Lineup for 2019-20 Season

After a 2018-19 campaign that saw the meteoric rise of Trae Young as well as the more steady and less flashy – but no less effective – contributions of fellow rookie Kevin Huerter, the Atlanta Hawks added a multitude of new faces this offseason via the draft, free agency and various trades.

Atlanta Hawk General Manager Travis Schlenk was certainly busy this offseason, as the 2019-20 roster will look far different from last season’s – as will the team’s starting lineup.

Last year, the Atlanta Hawks trotted out an opening night lineup versus the New York Knicks of: Trae Young at point guard, Kent Bazemore at shooting guard, Taurean Prince at small forward, Vince Carter at power forward and Alex Len at center.
