Today the Atlanta Hawks played what could’ve been called the Teague Bowl, as the team welcomed their former starting point guard back to Phillips Arena for the first time as a member of the Indiana Pacers. He received a standing ovation from the fans following a video tribute.
The last time that these two clubs met, Jeff Teague and Dennis Schroder squared off head to head, in a highly anticipated game featuring the one time Hawk All-Star and his former understudy.
The match-up between the two was largely over-hyped, as Teague shot 0-for-5 from deep with 11 points and Schroder finished with just 9 points and 3 assists.
