Just a night after a thrilling win in San Antonio, the Atlanta Hawks returned home to play some weekend ball against the Detroit Pistons.
The visiting Pistons came out shooting lights out, making 71% of their 1st quarter shots. Detroit outscored Atlanta 36-29 in the period.
Trae Young and John Collins combined for 13 to keep the Hawks in it, and Jeff Teague made a wild three to help ignite his homecoming.
The second quarter was pretty ugly, with the Pistons’ 2nd unit running their lead up to 17 on the Hawks’ 1st team.
