Hawks will bring in Jawun Evans, Mathias Lessort, Kennedy Meeks and others for a group workout on June 15, sources told Basketball Insiders.
The headline of Thursday’s draft workout group is Oklahoma State sophomore point guard Jawun Evans. After averaging 19.2 points and 6.4 assists per game last season Evans has picked up major traction as a potential first round talent.
Evans was one of the prospects that Hawks personal were assigned to interview at the 2017 NBA Draft Combine, so there is a connection there already. He has great potential with his ball handling, defensive capability, playmaking and perimeter shooting.
