The Atlanta Hawks had a busy summer in a lot of ways. In addition to having 2 top 10 draft picks, the Hawks also did some trading, shipping out forward Kent Bazemore and Taurean Prince.
The one aspect of their offseason that was a bit quiet was free agency. Most of the newcomers are from either the aforementioned draft or trades, but they did make one free agent catch: Jabari Parker.
The former 2nd overall pick signed a two-year, 13 million dollar contract with Atlanta on July 11th, after the Wizard declined a 20 million team option.
