The Atlanta Hawks have signed both Gary Neal and Lamar Patterson to 10-day contracts during the season but, for the most part, the team has operated with only two point guards. With that in mind, head coach and president of basketball operations Mike Budenholzer indicated on Thursday afternoon that adding a third option to the mix was a priority in the near future.
Budenholzer said he anticipates getting a 3rd PG, either now at deadline or bringing back a FA like Neal or Patterson.
