The Atlanta Hawks have reportedly hired Malik Rose for a front office position.
Former NBA veteran Malik Rose is joining the Atlanta Hawks front office according to a report by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Chris Vivlamore. Per the report, Rose will have a role in Atlanta's revamped Basketball Operations department.
Rose is a 13-year veteran of the league having played with the Knicks, Spurs, Hornets and Thunder. It was during his time with the Spurs that he first crossed paths with Mike Budenholzer. Rose has worked as a broadcaster since retiring as a player and has worked with NBA TV and NBA Radio and spent last season as a color commentator for the Philadelphia 76ers.
