The Atlanta Hawks appear to have several of candidates on their wishlist to be their next general manager. Last week, Marc Stein of ESPN reported that David Griffin and Joe Dumars were expected to become candidates for the position. That garnered mixed reactions from Hawks fans.
Yesterday, Stein reported that Oklahoma City Thunder vice president and assistant general manager Troy Weaver would likely be a candidate. That name made a little more sense. Weaver has been with the Thunder since 2010 and has be a candidate for GM openings in the past.
It’s just a matter of time before Weaver finally gets an opportunity to lead his own front office.
