The streaking Atlanta Hawks take on their winless, bitter 2015 playoff rival Brooklyn Nets tonight at 7:30 pm ET from Philips Arena.
In the opening round of last season’s Eastern Conference Playoffs, the 60-win #1 seeded Hawks were taken to task in a grueling six game series by the lowly #8 seeded Brooklyn Nets.
Though the Nets won just 38 regular-season contests and eked their way into the playoffs, they managed to give the Hawks all they could handle before eventually succumbing to Atlanta in six games.
As stated earlier, the Nets have yet to win a contest this season.
