For the first time this season, the Atlanta Hawks will face off against the San Antonio Spurs tonight in State Farm Arena.
The Spurs are currently clinging to the 8th spot in the Western Conference Playoff picture, having just escaped with a victory on Monday night against the second-seeded Denver Nuggets at home. It was a tough final frame for the Spurs, as Jamal Murray caught fire late and Rudy Gay missed two key free throws to give the Nuggets a chance to sneak away with a late victory.
Instead, the Nugs were unable to get a final shot off as Nikola Jokic was stifled around the basket.
