The Atlanta Hawks ex-head coach Lloyd Pierce, currently working with Team USA has signed a deal to become a new assistant coach with the Indiana Pacers. At the time of writing, his role has not been specified within the coaching staff.
Pierce was hired by the Hawks at the start of the 2018-19 season after spending four years as an assistant coach for the Philadelphia 76ers. He also spent a season with the Golden State Warriors as an assistant coach.
Pierce entered the league as a player development coach for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
