The Atlanta Hawks came into last night’s tilt against the New York Knicks as one of the worst road teams in the NBA. When they left Madison Square Garden, that still might’ve been the case, but they actually picked up another road win!
After giving up yet another massive first quarter surge to the opposing team, the Atlanta Hawks clamped down and actually played some solid defense – even Trae Young – and managed to hold the Knicks to “only” 107 points.
Though that’s still a solid showing, that’s much better than the Hawks have been performing on “D” for much of the season, so this performance was something to behold:
The Hawks held the Knicks to 43% shooting and 3 of 18 from three in the last 3 quarters.
