For the second time this season, the Atlanta Hawks bested the Minnesota Timberwolves in overtime. The Hawks have only played two overtime games this entire season – both of which are wins against the Wolves. The NBA is funny, man.
This was a scintillating affair in which neither side played a lot of defense. As is often the case this season for the Hawks, they gave up a 40-point quarter to an opponent this time right out of the gate.
All night, the team had no answer for Karl-Anthony Towns, who is one of the best offensive centers in the NBA (if not the best).
