The Atlanta Hawks roundly defeated the New Orleans Pelicans on the back of some strong showings from Kevin Huerter and John Collins as well as a truncated game from Anthony Davis of the Pels.
The Pelicans led 66-65 at halftime, but the Atlanta Hawks quickly turned the tables when Anthony Davis sat for much of the second half. The Hawks went on a strong 12-0 run to close out the 3rd quarter, and from there the Pelicans really had no answers.
The depleted Pels were without brilliant point guard Jrue Holiday for the entirety of this game, as he was out due to a lower abdominal strain – which will keep him out for 7-10 days.
