With the season winding down, the Atlanta Hawks are looking ahead to what will likely be one of the most impactful offseasons in recent franchise history.
After two successful drafts in a row in which they selected franchise cornerstones John Collins, Trae Young and Kevin Huerter consecutively, the team is setting themselves up for another important draft while also keeping an eye on free agency.
The team did quite well in the free agency market last year, as they picked up a low-cost flyer on a former #5 overall pick in Alex Len, which has worked out for the most part, as he has played quite well as the team’s backup center – who has had to start at times due to injuries in the frontcourt.
