In one of the most perplexing moves of the entire NBA offseason, Jeremy Lin was traded from the Brooklyn Nets to the Atlanta Hawks.
The trade, involving multiple swaps of second rounders and a Euro stash, came just under a month after the Draft, and just two days before the trade of Dennis Schröder. The move was essentially the climax of the Hawks’ most interesting offseason in years.
The 30-year-old point guard is years past his Linsanity prime, but he’s still an above-average point guard, who really hasn’t played since the ‘16-’17 season thanks to a ruptured patellar tendon he suffered on opening night last year.
