Our Atlanta Falcons joined the National Football League in 1966, and they had some truly special players on that roster during the 1960s.
Mr. Falcon himself, the team’s very first pick in its first-ever NFL Draft, Tommy Nobis. Claude Humphrey. Cannonball Butler (he’s got the best name of the bunch, even if he isn’t your favorite player from that era). Jeff Van Note joined the team in 1969, but even if he was only there for one year of that decade, it still counts.
