We know all about the matchup intrigue for the Atlanta Falcons and Pittsburgh Steelers. There’s Arthur Smith and his raft of former Falcons seeking revenge on the franchise that fired him, Raheem Morris and Mike Tomlin squaring off as old friends and new rivals, and two new-look quarterback rooms meeting on the gridiron to try to pilot their respective teams to a win.
But outside of the story lines, there’s a game to be played, and one between a rugged defensive team with a questionable outlook on offense and a talented squad that underwent such drastic changes that much about their 2024 fortunes still needs to be seen to be believed.
